There are more and more streaming offers, at home we almost only watch via streaming (Amazon / Netflix, Apple TV and others) instead of satellite TV. The selection of films is huge, the advantages of streaming are obvious. Through the combination of several streaming providers, there is virtually always the right TV program. We haven't watched live TV for a long time, but even that is now possible with some providers.

From a purely technical point of view, online TV (streaming or live-streaming) works quite well and a reasonably fast online connection is sufficient.

What is quite easy at home with flat-rate data tariffs can be a bit more complicated on the road. Data limits, sometimes insufficient reception or WLAN at the campsite that fluctuates greatly in speed can quickly put a spanner in the works.

What are your experiences with online TV and do you also use it on the road?

    Dear DigiCamper users,

I am happy to announce that Dirk ("Modian") and I will be supported by Martin ("Zausels_Kerl") as of today.

We are both very happy that there are now three of us, so the (future) workload will be distributed on more shoulders. Zausels_Kerl is already well known to both of us from the LinerTreff Community and fits perfectly into our team.

Martin, welcome here in the "digital lounge" :)

For some time now, I have had a small beamer that can be used quite flexibly due to its compactness. Whether for spontaneous, private outdoor cinema, a presentation at a customer's site or for mobile use - I am positively surprised by this device. This is the XGIMI Halo Beamer.

Here are a few photos of it, in comparison with a notebook to get a better idea of the size:

I particularly like the fact that the device is very bright, the manufacturer's specification here is 800 lumens (when operated with the mains adapter), on battery power somewhat less. But even the battery still manages amazing performance, especially when evening falls and twilight sets in, the device can also be used outdoors.

It can reach a diagonal of approx. 1 m at a distance of 1.2 m and can also be used as a mobile unit, for example in a motorhome, if the right installation position is available.

Here is a picture taken during the day (cloudy) in a bright room (the projection surface is a stove / i.e. a normal wall).

Various hardware components can be connected with the DigiCamper App.

Here is a list of which connections are currently possible:

    • SuperSense level sensors (all variants with integrated Bluetooth or alternatively via Bluetooth Box).
    • TireCheck tyre pressure monitoring system
    • Super Sense Scale (level measurement for 11 kg gas cylinders)
    • GasCheck (level measurement for tank gas cylinders and fixed tanks)

    • Concorde Reisemobile (all Models with original SuperSense Sensors + Bluetooth Box)
    • MORELO Reisemobile (all Models with original SuperSense Sensors + Bluetooth Box)
SuperSense Füllstandssensoren
